Cottrills Devise and implement a European wide online Long Service Awards programme for Colt Telecommunications.
The Company:
COLT Telecom Group Plc is an award winning and leading provider of Data, Voice and Managed Services to business and government customers across Europe.
The Background:
COLT operates networks across 13 countries, providing last-mile fibre to over 16,000 buildings in Europe.
They contacted Cottrills after concluding that they wanted a more centralised process for their long service award programme, they also wanted to offer their staff a more comprehensive range of gifts and a timeless delivery system.
Cottrills’ Role:
Cottrills formulated gift ranges at set budgets, as requested by COLT, using products from the Aspirations™ gift range. Care was taken to tailor the product range to respect cultural diversity and the differences in power supply. Cottrills’ web team then created a personalised online site for COLT.
This included personalised welcome text congratulating recipients on reaching their long service award, and the facility for recipients to order their gifts on line.
The site will also be updated every six months to ensure all gifts illustrated are current and the values reflect the high street prices less the discounts Cottrills offer.
The Service We Provide:
Cottrills write, on behalf of COLT, to all qualifying recipients on COLT letterhead to agreed text, giving recipients full access to the COLT long service award site and inviting qualifiers to make their service award selection.
Once the recipient has completed their online order form, Cottrills despatch the gift to the home address for recipients residing in the UK, or to the business address, for recipients outside of the UK.
A delegated Account Manager from Cottrills acts as first point of contact for any employee queries relating to ordering, products and delivery.
